Dragon Wheels Restorations 1968 MGB GT
An original, unrestored standard specification 1968 MGB GT. Finished in Snowberry white with a black leather interior. It retains it early Dunlop steel wheels and all original the mechanical drivetrain components. The vehicles glass, entire interior trim and body structure are Factory original.
Purchased from the second owner who originally brought the car in October 1976 from the first owner. He covered 3000 dry use only miles in his 45 years of ownership. After his purchase, in 1980 he resprayed the car in its correct colour.
Recent removal of the front wing splash shields revealed some corrosion in the outer sill areas and both sides of the car.
The car was fully stripped out, enabling the found corrosion was very carefully and correctly repaired using Heritage Panels and in such a way as not to effect the cars original floor structure.
Once repaired, the car was bare shell repainted by Mike Hughes at Lone Pine Garage in cellulose Snowberry White.
All the interior trim was carefully cleaned and refitted. All the stainless steel trims were de-dented and repolished whilst all the original chrome pieces on the car were three stage rechromed by Vehicle and General Polishers and Platers.
The car retains all its original interior components, with only some small repairs to the leather front seat faces.
