Dragon Wheels Restorations 1966 SHELBY GT350 SURVIVOR

An original unrestored 50k mile ‘66 Shelby. Just purchased from the cars second owner who originally purchased the car from its first owner back in 1976.
Factory Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue stripes which were added in the 1970’s. Retaining much of the original finish.
All original interior, glass and drivetrain and never disassembled.
Carefully maintained and cared for all of its life with an eye to its originality and authenticity. Just serviced and recommissioned for its new owner.
Vehicle currently undergoing careful mechanical maintenance, which has included a freshening of the hydraulic braking system with replacement of some original suspension bushes. A rebuild of the cars original date coded radiator. Replacement of the side exhaust system, fitted in the 1970's, with the correct under-car aluminised steel full rear-exit system. 
Removal of the original iron T10 transmission, disassembly, cleaning, checking, fitting of a fresh bearing set, reassembly and rebuild of the original Ford shifter components.
Removal of the original motor, with a extensive exterior clean and full regasketting to all component joints and changing of original plastic bodied camshaft timing gear.
Once prepared a fresh coat of the Factory Blue engine enamel applied.
