One of the 500 new Shelby modified Mustangs built by Shelby American at their Las Vegas facility, for the Hertz Corporation rental programme. This is the first time since 1970 that Shelby American has built new cars and this model faithfully follows the specification of its 1966 built forebears. Shelby modified/uprated 4.6litre engine, improved flow exhaust system, lower/uprated and stiffened suspension, limited slip differential axle, special hood with different front and rear facia panels. Carefully detailed/enhanced for road usage with painted on Hertz racing stripes in the correct 1966 colour, Ford racing [GT500] 14inch big disc Brembo brake conversion with ducted cold air cooling and Shelby American CS69 9.5X18 wheels.
