Dragon Wheels Restorations 1968 Shelby GT500

Very early build 68GT500, rediscovered after some 12 years in a store full of other classic & performance cars, here in England.
Subject to a full restoration. Factory 428 Police Interceptor motor subjected to a fully balanced and blue-printed rebuild using Factory stock carb/intake/distributor/cylinder heads but with upgraded internals. This yeilded 382bhp @ 4900rpm and 463lbs/ft of torque @ 3500 rpm on the dyno. Work by Knight Racing Services.
C6 automatic transmission full rebuilt with uprated internals. 3.50:1 9inch 31spline rear axle fully rebuilt and uprated with Ford Traction-Loc LSD unit and forged axle shafts.
Front discs uprated with grooved and drilled rotors to cope with engines extra power.
