Dragon Wheels Restorations 1968 Shelby GT500KR
1968 Shelby GT500KR. a 3 owner, numbers matching 428CJ, 4-speed car in Red with Black interior. 39000 miles from new and just unearthed from the last owners garage. Not driven since 1993. This vehicles body and chassis restoration has proven to be one of the most complex i have been involved with. The specialist chassis jig and engineering work has been superbly undertaken by my ex-Aston Martin colleagues at ASR Motorbody Engineering. Body reconstruction now completed using Dragon Wheels own very accurate chassis jigs which with ASR's skilled work have yeilded a superb, highly authentic and carefully repaired shell. The bodyshell has been fully redetailed and repainted in the Factory original Candy Apple Red by Mike Hughes at Lone Pine. Reassembly of the shell now fully underway
